Matt, Lizzie and Becky flew to Antigua at the beginning of December for the annual charter show.  It was so good to be back on the island, catching up with old friends and to see no apparent damage from the summer storms.  Whilst it’s fantastic to see the island so ready for the upcoming charter season, unfortunately, many of the other local islands including Antigua’s little sister, Barbuda have not fared as well.

The road to recovery is well underway with over 70% of the region fully operational and open for business.  We encourage everyone thinking about a Caribbean charter to continue to visit the islands and in doing so, support the recovery process.  We attended a series of events during the show, supporting the Caribbean recovery and also to learn a little more about the affected areas from the locals.  Much of the appeal of these islands is their natural beauty and that remains unchanged.  There is a real feeling of optimism and community, most importantly the spirit and appeal of this stunning cruising area is still as welcoming as ever.

We are always on the lookout for beautiful yachts to add to our charter selection and what better opportunity than the show.  We spent three days walking the docks and conducting tours on some very special yachts across all three of the show’s locations; Nelson’s Dockyard, Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.

We will be introducing a range of new yachts to our charter selection in the new year, including; the classic selection, the motor selection and for those looking for something a little larger we’ll also be launching an exclusive selection of recommended super yachts.

Visit our website to browse the current selection or contact Lizzie for all charter enquiries.
