Captain & Stew/Chef/Deck Crew Couple 

Yacht: CNB 76 – New in 2019, owned by the owner from the beginning, with a fully battened mainsail on V boom, it will require at least three people to bring it down and the crew will be required to climb the boom. The owner and his guests, get involved in hoisting and lowering of the sails, so a third crew member was not required during the last 7 seasons whilst sailing with the owner and his friends.

Start Date:March 2026 with a hand over from the previous Captain, the Yacht will be in Valencia.

Contract: Full time Seafarer’s 12 month employment contract.

Flag: Malta

Salary:Between €7 / €8,000 EUROS combined salary per month, depending on experience.

Location/Programme: No charter, private use only.  April 2026 season starts and once the owner joins the Yacht, you will make your first sail from Valencia to the Balearic Islands and spend the Summer sailing in the Mediterranean.

Winter: Potential to be in Palma, Northern Italy or Spain mainland, the rest of the programme yet to be confirmed but will be Mediterranean based.

Owners:German owners, English speaking. High standard of cleanliness is required at all times and although gourmet charter food is not required all the time the chef should be able to produce this if required. Experience in Low-Carb cuisine a plus. The owners have a twelve-year-old daughter and four-year-old son. They spend about 10 weeks on board per year.

Crew Requirements: The crew will ideally have previous experience working for private owners and providing high-end standards onboard a yacht of a similar size and specification, prefer experience on a CNB yacht.

As the owners have two young children, we are seeking crew who are naturally child friendly and enjoy being part of a family setting.

The Yacht has diving equipment on board, so PADI certified diving experience or prior scuba diving experience would be considered a bonus, as would crew that enjoy fishing.

Captain: Yachtmaster offshore (sail) with commercial endorsement (minimum), ENG1, STCW (or personal survival & first aid) or equivalents, GMDSS Radio License.  As well as minimum of two years relevant experience in command of similar size vessel and experience servicing and maintaining onboard systems inc: engine, air conditioning, water maker, generator.

Chef/Stew/Deck: STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene Level 2, Powerboat Level 2 .  Must have the ability to prepare and present delicious food with a passion for cooking.  Comfortable managing interiors, provisioning, catering & assisting on deck, including previous experience with mooring, lines, fenders and must be able to carry out solo watches.
