There are two areas to the Ionian, the north which is Corfu, Antipaxos & Paxos and to the south Kefalonia, Lefkas, Meganisi, Atoko, Zakynthos and Ithaca. The northern Ionian offers picturesque waterfront villages, you can explore small fishing villages, Paxos and Anitpaxos offer crystal clear water perfect for swimming and snorkelling, secluded bays and white sandy beaches. East of these islands is the western coast of mainland Greece, the towns and villages have many of the same characteristics as the Ionian islands. The southern Ionian has more beaches and islands so offer a wider choice of itineraries. There are more than twenty smaller islands dotted within Kefalonia and Lefaks including Meganisi, Kastos, Kalamos and Ithaca. Meaning everyday you can decide where you want to head next.
