Position: Captain & Chef/Stew Crew Couple.
Yacht: CNB 76 – Built in 2015
Start date: 1st May 2025 – Until October 2025
Salary: A combined salary of €7,500 p/m depending on experience.
Contract and Benefits: French contracts with French medical cover included.
Location/Programme: The Yacht will mainly sail in France and Italy and chartered in Sardinia and Corsica, with 7 weeks charter and 5 weeks owner use
Flag: French – The owners are French and the Yacht does require the Captain’s licence to also be French.
Crew Requirements: The crew will ideally have previous experience working on charter yachts and providing high-end standards onboard a yacht of a similar size and specification, prefer experience on a CNB yacht. Monohull sailing experience necessary. You must know naturally when to serve, when to chat and when to disappear into the background. Managing the itineraries is important with thorough research into areas to be visited. The yacht has scuba diving equipment so crew with diving experience will be welcomed.
Captain: The French equivalent of the RYA Yachtmaster (offshore) with commercial endorsement (the Capitaine 200) is essential, ENG1, STCW (or personal survival & first aid) or equivalents. As well as, minimum of one years relevant experience in command of similar size vessel and experience servicing and maintaining onboard systems inc; engine, air conditioning, water maker, generator.
Chef/Stew: The French equivalent to STCW a CFBS, ENG1, MCA approved Food & Hygiene level 2. Must be able to produce high end exciting Mediterranean food, using the finest and freshest produce and be comfortable provisioning, catering, managing interiors, assisting on deck with mooring, lines and fenders. Power boat Level 2 preferable.
