Spending Winter 2018/19 in the Caribbean and then in 2019/20/21 heading through to the Pacific finishing in New Zealand for the America’s Cup, she’s available for charter all along the way.
I already have a tandem charter booked with Orion in January so it was very exciting to get onboard and meet the crew, a multi national crew, English, French and American, they have a great dynamic, they are all so excited to be on such a beautiful yacht and going on such a huge adventure. 3 of the crew had worked together previously and the 4th had done deliveries with the captain so was happily welcomed into the fold.
Orion is modern, with a white & teal interior, she has a tap that dispenses chilled purified water, both still and sparkling. With huge windows in the saloon you have great views outside. All cabins are doubles with en-suite, and beautifully presented. On the aft deck there is exterior dining and a casual seating area and BBQ on the side. At the very back, her tender lives on a hydraulic platform but once launched, the area becomes “the beach” and they set it up with sun loungers. Up on the fly bridge are the controls, a smaller seating area with table – a great spot for sundowners and a small jacuzzi behind and more sun cushions on the side.
As for water toys she isn’t lacking there either with 2 seabobs, towable inflatables, snorkelling equipment, wake board, water skis and stand up paddle boards, there is plenty to keep everyone active, that is if you can drag yourself off the sun cushions!
Orion has bookings in the Caribbean with only a few gaps left but beyond the Panama Canal things are currently quieter and if you’re thinking about going to watch the next America’s cup in New Zealand you need to seriously consider Orion.
