Position: Captain & Stew/Cook Crew Couple.

Start date:. Brand New Yacht being launched May 2025. Captain would be employed from about January 2025 onwards, to supervise the building process, manage handover, and equipping with extras not delivered by the ship yard.
Salary: A combined salary of €9,000 p/m DOE
Contract and Benefits: Seafarer Contract employed by Blue White Ocean d.o.o., Croatia.
Location/Programme: The brand new yacht is being launched in May 2025 and the Captain should be involved in the last building period. The Yacht will spend summer 2025 in the Baltic Sea and from Autumn 2025 stay in the Mediterranean (sailing season: March – October; maintenance period: November to February). The owners want approx 12 – 14 weeks per year on board: split 6 weeks with family & children with lots of swimming and 6–8 weeks with friends, where they like to enjoy lots of sailing and discovering new spots to visit.
The family trips consist of 4 adults and 2 children. Friends trip 2-6 adults. The owners don’t dock in the harbour but at anchor. The time between each trip is approx 2 weeks for preparation and maintenance. The Yacht will not be used for charter.

Crew Requirements: The crew will ideally have previous experience working on private yachts and providing high-end standards onboard a catamaran of a similar size and specification. You must know naturally when to serve, when to chat and when to disappear into the background. Managing the warranty list and maintenance is very important alongside navigation leading the yacht for new trips.
Captain: Yachtmaster offshore (sail) (minimum), ENG1, STCW (or personal survival & first aid) or equivalents. As well as, minimum of two years relevant experience in command of similar size vessel and experience servicing and maintaining onboard systems inc; engine, air conditioning, water maker, generator.
Stew/Cook: STCW, ENG1. Comfortable managing galley and interiors at anchor during light sailing, provisioning, catering & assisting on deck with mooring, lines and fenders. The owners aren’t asking for a chef as such but a certain passion for cooking would be expected.
