CAPTAIN & STEW/CHEF CREW COUPLE

Salary: A combined salary of £8,000 to £9,000 p/m depending on experience

Location/Programme: The Yacht is currently in the UK, with potential plans to sail to Sweden / Norway in late spring, but plans to bring her back to the Med by July. The Yacht will be a mix of private and charters over the summer and then joining the ARC Rally for more chartering in the Caribbean, then returning via the Azores in May 2027 to the Mediterranean to start all over again.
Owners: The owners are British and have a son and a daughter aged 18 & 16; they are all keen sailors. The family love to be involved in all aspects of the Yacht and Mother and Daughter enjoy cooking and love to help out in the galley.
Crew Requirements: The crew will ideally have at least two years previous experience chartering and providing high-end standards onboard a yacht of a similar size and specification, preferred experience on an Oyster or CNB. Personality is vital to this role and the crew are expected to work hard, be professional, as well as be able to blend into part of the family team. Fluent English is essential and previous racing experience would also be a huge benefit.
Captain: Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail) with commercial endorsement (minimum), ENG1, STCW (or personal survival & first aid) or equivalents and VHF License. As well as, minimum of two years relevant experience in command of similar size vessel and experience servicing and maintaining onboard systems inc; engine, air conditioning, water maker, generator.
Chef/Stew: ENG1, STCW, Food & Hygiene level 2. Must be able to produce high end, top quality, exciting, fresh Mediterranean cuisine. Be comfortable managing interiors, provisioning, cleaning, catering and assisting on deck and be able to help out with mooring, lines and fenders. Preferable Powerboat Level 2.
