Contract and Benefits: SEA Contract employed by Guernsey Company including medical cover.
Location/Programme: The Captain will be part of the Sea trials, accompanied by the First Mate, both of them will participate in the boat handover in France. Then sail the vessel to Barcelona, where it will remain. The approximate date for arrival is 1st June 2026. Upon arrival to Barcelona, they will assist with bringing aboard all of the owners’ possessions and preparing the boat accordingly for the owners to join. The three additional crew members will also start at this point.
Stew: STCW, ENG1, Preferable Power Boat Level 2. Silver service training, have previous experience working for high end guests and delivering luxury charters. You must know naturally when to serve, when to chat and when to disappear into the background. Oversee all interior operations, house keeping, laundry, service provisioning, guest areas. Create and maintain cleaning schedules for yourself and the junior stew, create inventories and hold high interior cleanliness standards at all times. Be a trained mixologist and barista, deliver high level hospitality: table service, preferable wine knowledge and guest interaction. Anticipate guests needs. Lead and train junior stew, allocate tasks, maintain morale, ensure professional conduct. Be a strong link for the Captain regarding interior matters.
Stew Salary: €4,500 p/m
Junior Stew: STCW, ENG1. Silver service training, table setting and service styles, ability to work long hours with attention to detail, team player and communication skills, confidence in abilities to assist in other areas of the Yacht if needed. Ability to follow check lists and maintain high standards. Bed making and cabin turn downs. Proper care of surfaces (marble, stainless steel, wood, fabrics). Be positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn. Preferable mixologist and barista training.
Junior Stew Salary: €2,500 p/m – €3,000 p/m DOE
