The 2026 EMMYS Charter Show once again proved why it remains one of the standout events in the Mediterranean yachting calendar. Held on the beautiful island of Poros, the show brought together an impressive fleet, exceptional crews, and a strong sense of camaraderie across the industry. From perfectly executed tablescapes to highly competitive chef presentations and creative sustainability initiatives, this year’s event showcased the extraordinary standards that continue to define the Greek charter market.
This year, the whole diYachting team (myself, Pippa, Freya, Julia & Louise) made the trip as it’s been impossible to view all the boats when there is only 2 of us and it’s great to spend time together and talk about our favourite topics, yachts & crew! It was also interesting to see how we all so strongly agreed with each others views and opinions on so many things.
The Chef Competition was fiercely contested across both the Emerald and Diamond categories, with creativity, technical skill, and presentation all on full display. The theme this year was one of sustainability and using the fish and shellfish that are damaging the eco systems. lion fish and Blue crab both featured highly.
In the Emerald Group, BLUE ONE claimed first place with an outstanding culinary performance that impressed judges with both flavour and execution. MAMA secured second place, while VALIUM 55 completed the podium in third.
The Diamond Group delivered equally strong competition, with ALENA taking first place thanks to a refined and beautifully presented menu. APHAEA followed in second place, while SAMARA earned third after delivering a strong overall showing.
The Tablescaping Competition once again highlighted the creativity and detail-oriented professionalism of yacht crews, this year’s them was a place/country. SAHANA won the Emerald Group with an elegant and imaginative presentation, while ABOVE & BEYOND took top honours in the Diamond Group for a sophisticated and polished Venice theme that stood out among a highly competitive field.

One of the biggest accolades of the show, Best Overall Crew, was awarded to CRAZY HORSE — a well-deserved recognition of exceptional teamwork, presentation, hospitality, and professionalism throughout the event. The also hosted yoga, breath work, functional training and ice baths over the 4 days.

The CYBA Designer Water Contest added a fun and innovative dimension to the programme, encouraging sustainability and creativity, this year we let all registered brokers vote and it was so exciting to see everyone talking about the entries and enjoying being part of this for the first time in Greece. In the Diamond Group, CHRISTAL MIO 67 took first place, followed by ELLY in second and CRAZY HORSE in third. In the Emerald Group, AURELIA secured the top spot, with EFKRATI taking second place and KING OF DIAMONDS finishing third.
From the diYachting Team there has to be a special mention to the crew on Kimata; who not only made the best cappuccinos but made us feel welcome to keep to returning throughout the show for more cappuccinos and back for sunset cocktails! No request was ever too much.
Beyond the competitions themselves, the atmosphere throughout the show reflected the resilience and continued evolution of the Greek charter industry and the extremely high standards on the multihulls in Greece. Captains, brokers, chefs, stews, and crew all contributed to an event that balanced professionalism with genuine hospitality and collaboration.
The 22nd edition of the East Med Multihull Yacht Charter Show reinforced the depth of talent operating within the region and highlighted the ever-increasing standards expected within luxury yacht charter. From culinary excellence to innovative guest experiences, Poros once again delivered a memorable event showcasing some of the very best the industry has to offer.
