Azul is a beautifully presented Lagoon 55 with a captain who is passionate about respecting the environment and has been instrumental in the transition to many eco-friendly practices on board. The lithium batteries are charged from solar panels and they are powerful enough to run the air conditioning and water makers so this has helped to minimise generator use to 1-2 hours per day!
The have an advanced water filtration system on board to reduce single use plastic consumption. They have a special water brew too which is as deep blue as the name Azul denotes made from local flowers and magically changes from blue to indigo with the addition of citrus. You have to see it to believe it, a great way to encourage kids to stay hydrated during the heat of the summer.
Azul boasts 4 spacious double cabins all with en-suite and a light coloured interior which creates an open and relaxing environment.
The main saloon is beamy and spills effortlessly onto the aft deck via large sliding doors with dining areas inside and out and a table on the flybridge for sunset cocktails.
